@bradbarrish If you delete all the Things support files on Mac, it resets the trial. Re-sync, and you're good for another couple of weeks

@mistercharlie thanks all! I shall keep them coming.

@brentsimmons I spent weeks trying to learn Poor Black Mattie. It seemed impossible. And then it was easy. I love that if I play it, it’s guaranteed to get people moving.

@brentsimmons It's a real foot-tapper when you hit the groove, though.

@Cassinato One in, one out, is my rule now. I play a lot, but even two guitars stresses me, because I feel I'm giving one more time than the other!

@Cassinato Very nice indeed. My most-played guitar is a strat I built myself from parts. It’s fantastic. Sounds, plays, and looks great.

@manton I'm not seeing anything in my Newsblur. If I load the RSS link in the browser, the articles are in there, but nothing loads in any of my RSS readers. Perhaps the feed is marked as unread?

@Cassinato Music Man Valentine. It’s amazing, but so boring to look at. So I fixed it :)

@jordanmerrick I was @charlie on Instagram for years, but it caused me no end of grief. Good choice!

@cheesemaker Thanks! I should really post more, but I got out of the habit after I mostly quit Twitter months ago.

@manton I like receiving them. It’s a way for me to weed out services I don’t care about any more (not micro.blog, of course ;)

@Miraz 👍

@danielpunkass 👍

@ccgus The icon alone is amazing.

@dand The quotes at the bottom of the page you linked don’t fill me with confidence:)

@dand That’s super interesting. I wonder how you’d test the claims of the vendor, but I’d definitely be interested

@dand I’m very wary of VPNs, as they have access to all your data.

@dand When I read up on it, it seems to be policy at the network-provider level. I couldn’t determine if it was for something like network efficiency, or for more nefarious reasons.

I didn’t dig in much though — I didn’t need details for the article.

@cheesemaker Exactly. And then only on the “posts” page, which I guess I’m the only person ever to look at. So I should probably stop whining. I’ll post a pic of it.

@cheesemaker Looking at it again, the picture posts look fantastic on the hosted blog, as long as I don’t have them in timeline layout.

@jasonshew The only thing it lacks, for me, is recording from another app. I’d like to be able to record direct from a guitar amp sim, for example.

@cheesemaker I wasn’t expecting it to be split into sections by date. That’s cool for a journal, I guess, but not for a themed collection.

Also, it looks ok on my web page, but the micro.blog post has no alignment. It’s like I dragged a bunch of images onto a Word doc and left them where they dropped.

The app itself is great. Clean and easy to use. Just the right amount of options.

@mistercharlie The Sunlit photo posting is a bit of a mess here.

@jasonshew Me too. But the nice thing about Music Memos iCloud storage is that it’s all just recordings in a folder. No lock-in. Unlike Hum, which still has a bunch of my stuff in it.
